Questions
Does it drain my battery?
No noticeable impact. It uses the phone’s built-in geofencing, which only wakes fit8 when you arrive at or leave a place.
What if I only allow location “While Using”?
Then automatic check-off stays off — it needs “Always” to notice you at the gym while fit8 is closed. The reminder after class works either way.
Can my gym see where I am?
No. Location never leaves your phone; gyms only see the invoice.
