Who counts
Instructors connected to you through an invite link, in either direction, with a paid Pro plan. Free plans don’t count.
When it starts
When your friend pays their first Pro month after the 2-month trial. The trial itself doesn’t count yet.
It works both ways
You get €1 off for them, and they get €1 off for you. Nobody pays for anyone else.
When something changes
We recalculate before each billing month. If a friend cancels, your price goes up by €1 the following month, never mid-month.
Paid on the web
You need a web subscription to get the discount. Friends count whether they pay on the web or through an app store.

The discount maxes out at €3, so Pro is never less than €1.99. Discounts apply to Pro billed on fit8.app only — monthly or yearly, where the 15% comes on top — and can’t be paid out or transferred. You can see your active friends and your current price in Account → Friends.

Questions
How does the friendship plan work?
For each instructor you’re connected with through an invite who has a paid Pro plan, you both pay €1 less per month — up to €3, so Pro never costs less than €1.99. If a friend cancels, your price adjusts from the next billing month. The discount is only available when you pay for Pro on fit8.app, not through the App Store or Google Play.
Does a friend on the free trial lower my price?
Not yet. A friend counts from their first paid Pro month after the 2-month trial. You’ll get a notification when your price drops.
Can I combine yearly billing with the friend discount?
Yes. Yearly billing on fit8.app takes 15% off your price after the friend discount. With 3 Pro friends that’s €1.69 a month, or €20.30 for the year. Your yearly price is set at renewal; friends who join during the year earn you €1 a month in credit for your next renewal.
I subscribed in the App Store. How do I get the discount?
Cancel your App Store or Google Play subscription, then subscribe on fit8.app with the same account once it runs out. You keep all your data, and your friends’ discount applies from your first web-billed month.
What counts as an invoiced class?
Any class that appears on an invoice you send through fit8. Logging, planning and confirming classes is always unlimited.
What happens after my 2 free classes?
You can keep logging and confirming. To invoice more classes that month, upgrade to Pro — or wait until next month.
Is there a trial?
Pro comes with 2 months free. You won’t be charged if you cancel before the trial ends.
Is substitution free?
Yes, on every plan — and colleagues can accept without an account.
